These are projects that attract our attention. They are the projects that bring joy to our lives.

Refilwe School - Lanseria

A privately funded primary school near Lanseria Airport in Gauteng caters to the needs of the children from the nearby informal settlements. The school is run on meagre donations and the teachers often go without pay. A major problem was that the school had no fence around it to protect the children. As a result a number of rape cases had been reported at the school. Media Works paid for the entire school property to be fenced off.

William Clark Gardens Children's Home

William Clark Gardens Children's Home Cottage Programme caters for the needs of 72 children. The home is situated on a beautiful piece of land which was unfortunately unkempt and inacesible to the children. Media Works has, for the past 10 years, paid for the upkeep of the gardens so the children have space to play and run.

Media Works also put up a wall of remembrance for those children who died of HIV/AIDS.

Boys & Girls Town

Media Works has been sponsoring a child at Boys & Girls town for the past two years and it is our aim to continue until they matriculate. We have no idea who this person is but are happy in the knowledge that a life is being nurtured in a way that only Boys & Girls Town know how. With a bit of luck this person will end up working for Media Works in the future.
