A group of adults from Makhanda were given the opportunity to improve their quality of life through a braille programme sponsored by Sun International.
Media Works hosted a graduation ceremony for 10 learners with disabilities from the community of QwaQwa in Lusaka, the Free State.
30 adults have completed the five-month long programme, which included Communication and Mathematics Level 1.
In July 2018, 25 learners with disabilities graduated from a Media Works Adult Education and Training project, sponsored by Assmang Proprietary Limited, in Upington, Northern Cape.
This month, Media Works hosted a graduation ceremony for 15 learners with disabilities from the community of QwaQwa, Free State. The ceremony recognised learners who passed and completed the AET Level 1 course through Media Works.
Currently a Geotechnical Assistance at Petra Diamonds in Koffiefontein in the Free State, Isaac Gizane, has excelled in his Adult Education and Training (AET) course work with Media Works.
Fortunate Nonhlanha Ngcobo, our August Learner of the Month, has been employed as a machinist at Celrose in Tongaat since August 2014.
